Norseman 47462 29-Piece Drill Bit Set Cryo/Nitride Type 190-CN Red Case

Taking advantage of Cryogenictreated drills can result in significant cost savings from increased tool life. Once a drill is treated, it is treated for life. In addition to longer time in cutting application, these tools wear-less. Nitride process diffuses into the surface to create a case hardening which resulting in exceptional corrosion resistance. 

  • Superior to Cobalt bits, ultra hard, super premium drill bits that are designed not to snap and shear during hard drilling, even at awkward angles
  • Packaged in a convenient, patented high visibility red ultradex that is easy to see and find. Easy to carry around with durable, long lasting, water resistant packaging. A clip is built into the ultradex so that it may be attached to a belt. The round shank has flats ground onto three sides to reduce slippages of the bits when used in a drill chuck.
  • The Nitride process diffuses nitrogen into the surface to create a case hardening resulting in superior tool life and exceptional corrosion resistance. Recommended for work hardening grades of stainless steel and other hard metal drilling application. These bits are built to last!
  • Cryogenic treatment creates a more uniform grain structure by transforming retained austenite into martensite.
